1. Overview & Service Scope
CrewKeepr is a specialized B2B workforce management, job-site scheduling, and time-tracking platform. It is provided to business entities, contractors, and employers (“Organizations”) for use by their designated supervisors, managers, and field workforce (“Users”).
Depending on the context, your employer or contracting organization is the primary Data Controller of your work-related records, and TENR.JE LIMITED acts as a Data Processor facilitating secure time tracking, timesheet generation, and jobsite coordination.
2. Information We Collect
Account & Profile Information
First and last name, business email address, phone number, employment role (e.g. Owner, Foreman, Worker), and authentication credentials (hashed passwords, auth session tokens).
Timesheet & Job Data
Clock-in/out timestamps, shift durations, work sessions, job site allocations, and manager notes associated with timesheet verification and payroll compliance.
3. Location Data (Foreground Only)
Strictly Foreground, Event-Driven Verification
CrewKeepr requests GPS location permission only when you are actively using the app. Location data (latitude, longitude, and accuracy radius) is retrieved exclusively when a worker:
- Taps “Clock In” at a designated job site;
- Taps “Switch Job” to transfer between active sites; or
- Taps “Clock Out” at the end of their shift.
We do not track continuous location. We do not run background location tracking when the app is closed or minimized. Location is used purely to verify geographic presence within the employer’s configured job geofence.
4. Camera & Biometric Authentication
Camera Permission
Camera access is requested solely to scan encrypted QR codes displayed at active job sites to verify shift clock-ins. No photos or video streams are recorded, uploaded, or stored during QR scanning.
Biometric Authentication
Face ID and fingerprint authentication are handled directly by your device’s operating system (iOS Secure Enclave / Android Keystore). Biometric data never leaves your device and is never accessible to CrewKeepr or TENR.JE LIMITED.
5. How We Use and Share Data
- Operational Verification: Enabling employers to confirm crew attendance, hours worked, and job site completion.
- No Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade any personal information, location coordinates, or client records to third parties or data brokers.
- No Advertising Tracking: CrewKeepr contains no third-party advertisements and does not collect mobile advertising identifiers (such as IDFA or Google AAID).
- Service Providers: Data is hosted on encrypted cloud database infrastructure with end-to-end TLS 1.3 encryption and strict multi-tenant isolation.
6. Account & Data Deletion (User Rights)
In full compliance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play Data Safety policies, users have the right to permanently delete their account and associated personal data at any time:
Option 1: Directly in the Mobile App
Navigate to Settings → Delete Account (Permanent). Confirming this immediately terminates active sessions and initiates permanent deletion of your profile.
Option 2: Web Deletion Request
Send an email to support@crewkeepr.co.uk with the subject “Account Deletion Request” from your registered email. Requests are processed within 14 business days.
7. Data Protection Rights & Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Jersey, Channel Islands, including the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018, and where applicable, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
You have the right to access, rectify, port, or request erasure of your personal data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner (JOIC) or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
